Doncaster Sheffield Airport is one of the most exciting developments in the Sheffield City Region. It benefits from direct motorway access, excellent freight rail links and a close proximity to the UK’s largest port. The airport handles approx. 1 million passengers a year, operations include Thomson, First Choice, Wizzair, Aer Lingus and Flybe serving over 40 destinations across Europe, the USA and Canada.The 2, 893m runway is also capable of handling large commercial freighter aircraft such as the Antonov 124 and the Boeing 747.
