Doncaster Mayoral candidates are being invited to participate in a Mayoral Hustings as part of Doncaster Chamber’s annual Doncaster Business Conference on 21 April.
They will have the opportunity to briefly share their mandates with 300 business leaders and answer questions on the issues that matter most to the local business economy.
“The hustings promises to be a lively debate between the contenders as they go head to head and show why they are the best candidate to represent the town and its interests, ahead of the mayoral election on the 4 May,” says Amy Symon, Events & Membership Officer for Doncaster Chamber.
The hustings is part of the Business Conference’s strong line of guest speakers and panellists, discussing the subjects that are important to Doncaster business including Andrew Percy MP, Adam Marshall, director general, British Chambers of Commerce, and Greg Wright of the Yorkshire Post. Around 300 guests are expected to attend from the surrounding business community.
Standing Mayoral candidates should contact Doncaster Chamber as soon as possible to express their interest in participating in the event. Please note that the Doncaster Chamber will make the final decision regarding who will be invited to participate in this debate.
