Ignition Training, Doncaster’s premier Training Centre for work in the motor vehicle industry has been awarded The Duke of York Community Initiative Award. The Duke’s Royal crest can be displayed on their letterheads and Website.
This pinnacles a fantastic few months for Ignition after winning the above award along with Male Entrepreneur of the Year, Enterprising Learning Provider of the Year and Social Enterprise of the Year.
Ignition supports people into employment and training by delivering motor vehicle repair skills to unemployed and young learners. Working partly as a real working garage for the public we give people vital immersion into a real work environment while developing their skills, qualifications, CV, confidence and a reference.
Ignition is about to move premises to a larger centre with training rooms, IT suite and is about to take on new staff including one of their own trainees as an apprentice.
David Brazer (Director) said:
“This journey establishing Ignition has been such an incredible rollercoaster of extreme highs and lows but seeing the positive changes in the service users lives makes it worthwhile. It is our third Birthday this month and to be nominated and awarded the above awards and now The Duke of York recognition is such an honour and privilege we will endeavour to live up to. It isn’t easy but our mantra is ‘Anyone can do easy’
If you can help a learner by employing them, taking an apprentice or you have a car or tools you could donate please contact Ignition Training.
