Motor finance business commits to Doncaster

Close Brothers Motor Finance has signed a new lease on its head office in Doncaster.

The business has been based in the town since 1991, now employing more than 300 staff at its Roman House and Spinner Point offices.

James Broadhead, chief executive of Close Brothers Motor Finance, said: “The final decision was primarily based on our commitment to an area which is an important part of our heritage, but more importantly it demonstrates a commitment to our people, who clearly enjoy living and working in Doncaster.

“Our proposition is built around people – it’s what makes us unique in our industry – and we didn’t want to take any decisions that would pose a threat to losing any of the great people who make our business what it is.

“As a resident of Doncaster for over 13 years, I know first-hand what Doncaster has to offer from both a business and personal perspective.”
