Doncaster Sheffield Airport are expecting thousands of passengers to pass through its doors over the Easter weekend heading to one of the 40 destinations across Europe and beyond that are accessible from the Yorkshire hub.

Passengers will depart to a range of Mediterranean resorts and European city break destinations from the airport, served by operators such as Flybe, Thomson, First Choice and Wizz Air.

Chris Harcombe, head of aviation development said: “Easter is an extremely busy period for the airport and we all look forward to welcoming passengers ahead of their flights as they head out on their getaways.  Dublin, Paris and Amsterdam are proving to be very popular routes this Easter weekend.

“At Doncaster Sheffield Airport we take great pride in how we look after our passengers during their time with us on their journeys and have been preparing for some time to make sure that passengers continue to have a great experience here, even when we are busier than usual.”
