Chamber Digital - Covid-19: Update on Business Support and Next Steps for Businesses

Chamber Digital Webinar sessions will enable you to hear from an expert in their field sharing best practice, knowledge and experience. During this period of uncertainty our aim is to keep businesses moving and talking.

Each session will comprise of 20 minutes from an expert speaker followed by an interactive Q&A where you will be able to ask the expert questions directly. There will be an opportunity to have further discussions with the expert after the session has finished.

Overview:
This session will be hosted by Michael Hall and Catherine Wilson from Keebles LLP.
 
As the Coronavirus pandemic forces the UK population to stay at home, companies and employees alike are left with uncertainty regarding cash, debt and staff.
 
We will provide an update on the wide-ranging package of measures that the Government put in place to support businesses through this period of disruption and discuss next steps for businesses to move forward.

Speaker Bio:
Michael Hall, Partner

Michael specialises in advising on a wide variety of corporate finance matters, including MBOs, trade acquisitions and disposals and private equity transactions, with particular experience in the manufacturing and creative and digital industries sectors.

He advises a wide range of clients, from start-ups and early stage ventures to large multinationals and public companies, on all aspects of corporate law, with a particular focus on manufacturing and high-tech businesses.

Catherine Wilson, Partner

Catherine specialises in all aspects of employment law with a particular emphasis on discrimination, whistleblowing, redundancies and senior executive severances. Her clients range across both private and public sectors but include manufacturing , logistics, retail businesses and inward investors.

An experienced Tribunal advocate, Catherine trained as a barrister and re qualified as a solicitor in 1995. Prior to joining Keebles in 2018, Catherine was head of employment at a national firm based in London and director of legal services at a leading regulatory consultancy. Catherine is also a trustee of the Bradford Diocesan Academies Trust.
