Chamber Digital - Getting Britain back to work

These forums will facilitate collaborative thinking among the industry leaders and are designed to generate discussion and insights on the challenges and opportunities in this sector. Each session will have a theme and a panel of guest speakers that will approach the subject from different vantage points. The forums will be a platform to stimulate, educate and drive collaboration, partnerships and foster business opportunities and growth.

This session will explore the latest data on the scale of the rise in unemployment since the coronavirus crisis and how this varies across the country, identify ways to get Britain back to work and priorities for an inclusive economic future. It will highlight work done by Learning and Work Institute to examine these issues and the work of a national group it coordinates in arguing for an ambitious and swift response.
