Doncaster businesses will have the opportunity to share their aspirations and challenges with their local MPs and Deputy Mayor at an upcoming Doncaster Chamber event.
MPs Ed Miliband, Dame Rosie Winterton and Caroline Flint, and Deputy Mayor, Cllr. Glyn Jones will listen to businesses’ aspirations and challenges regarding the local and national economy and how policies need to be shaped to support them.
Doncaster businesses are key to the local economy. They bring major investment, employment, skills development, and social value. It’s important that there is strong collaborative working with the local authorities and government for everyone to prosper.
Says Dame Rosie Winterton MP for Doncaster Central.
The MPs and Deputy Mayor will discuss current plans and answer questions on opportunities and concerns raised by attendees. They are keen to hear local business opinion to inform their thinking and influence other important stakeholders and shape policies.
The event, Audience with your Local MPs and Deputy Mayor, on Friday 29 September, will start at 9:00am with networking over breakfast and close by 11:30am at the National College for High Speed Rail, Carolina Way, DN4 5PN, Doncaster. It is open to members of the Chamber and non-members with no cost.
