Commercial Property New industrial units to be built near South Yorkshire’s airport

Plans are in place to build three new industrial warehouse units opposite Doncaster Sheffield International Airport.

Prospect Property Group have had plans drawn up for three new detached units ranging from 11,000 sq. ft up to 22,000 sq. ft.

This development will benefit significantly from improved access, with the final stretch of the new Great Yorkshire Way due for completion in May 2018, providing a direct route from the Airport to Junction 3 of the M18 Motorway.

Paul Mack, Director at Gent Visick, who are the marketing agents alongside CBRE, said: “Access to the entire Finningley area was previously convoluted however following the opening of Junction 3 of the M18 and the construction of the new roadway linking the Airport to the Motorway, the growth potential for the entire area is enormous.

Businesses will now see the Finningley area as a truly legitimate destination, with access to the national motorway network and the benefit of being in such close proximity to an international Airport.

”We are excited to be involved in this development and we anticipate interest will come from local, regional and national companies.”
