Donasonic to Supply a New E-scrap Recycling Plant to Serbia

Donasonic are pleased to announce that they have been contracted to supply a new recycling system to Biz Reciklaza in Serbia.

This project will provide their customer with their high powered Crossflow X165 crushing machine, with the primary role of processing white goods (Washing Machines, Ovens and Boilers). The line will enable the client to increase their throughputs to approx. 50 washing machines per hour, and has the additional functionality to process 4-5 t/h of WEEE (waste electrical and electronic equipment).

The Crossflow X165 is also flexible enough to process 20 tons of agricultural, food or slaughterhouse waste. Over 48 million tons of e-waste are produced every year, causing toxic chemicals such as lead, mercury and cadmium to pollute the surrounding soil and water. Donasonic's machines and turn key systems can reduce the level of e-waste deemed as refuse and all are manufactured to the highest standard, fulfilling European Regulation Standards.

The Crossflow hosts varying crusher element configurations of blades or chains, material dependent, which rotate at highspeed, breaking apart the input material into its constituent components (click here to see the Crossflow in action). The specially engineered crushing elements enable long life and hence reduced downtime, resulting in the maximum value being extracted from the input material with reduced wear parts and running costs.
