Doncaster Chamber attends Handmade in Doncaster fair

Handmade in Doncaster is going from strength to strength. The network of local makers are supported by Doncaster Council and Doncaster Chamber's Sheffield City Region Launchpad programme to grow their handmade businesses.

Many of the town's entrepreneurs will have stands at the Handmade in Doncaster Craft and Food Fair on Sunday 17th September, from 11am to 3pm at Cusworth Hall, Cuswoth Lane, Doncaster DN5 7TU. Everyone is welcome.

Doncaster Chamber will also have a stand with information about the SCR Launchpad Programme; a pre and post start-up business support programme for anyone trading under two-years. The programme includes one-to-one free business advice, workshops, networking events, financial guidance, and a funded year of Chamber membership.

"The Doncaster Chamber is proud to provide free and comprehensive business support services for ambitious entrepreneurs across the borough. The SCR Launchpad programme, backed by Doncaster Council and funded by ERDF, supports people in the Doncaster area to develop their business idea and ultimately start trading. We also support new businesses who have been trading for under 24-months and are looking to grow," says Harriet Fern, Business and Education Officer, Doncaster Chamber.

"The Handmade in Doncaster Fair on the 17th September will be a great opportunity for us to meet with new businesses who may be looking for support and guidance. I strongly encourage anyone with a new business or a business idea to pop along on the day to find out more."

There will also be a wide variety of stalls ranging from toys, jewellery, hats, gifts, and food.
