Doncaster fight promotion Thai up deal with major brand

Caged Steel, the Doncaster based Mixed Martial Arts Promotion who host their shows out of the Doncaster Dome have agreed on terms with long-standing Thailand Muay Thai boxing brand Sandee.

The Thailand based brand will not only be the fightwear sponsor of caged Steel’s MMA events, they have teamed up with them to allow Caged Steel to promote a number of Muay Thai events every year, which will begin here in Doncaster at a venue to be announced once the promotion has completed it’s negotiations with a few potential providers.

On March 17th Caged Steel will promote their latest event at the Doncaster Dome, there will be around 20 fights of pure adrenaline fuelled action. The night will
consist of MMA, K1 and a few caged boxing bouts. The events always bring huge crowds and an incredible atmosphere. Ticket prices are £30 standard and £50 for VIP and are
available from either the Dome Doncaster or Caged Steel website.

“We are incredibly pleased to finalise this deal with such a high profile, long-established Thailand brand,” said Dominic Gibbs, Caged Steel CEO. He went on to say “We have worked hard to secure this deal having to cover many miles to sit and discuss terms with the SANDEE Owners. There is more work to do now. We need to find a suitable large arena, finalise the format of the shows and then work incredibly hard on making them a huge success. I believe we are the right Company to take on this massive challenge, myself and the team are eager to get started.”

The Muay Thai events will include a Junior and Senior element and will be made of a Contender and Champions series. Events held in Doncaster will see good visitor numbers
to the Town. Further updates will be released on www.caged-steel.co.uk as they get finalised.
