Exlabesa Building Systems has announced the installation and completion of a £4.5 million extrusion press at its Doncaster headquarters. The investment will take capacity to 18,000 tonnes a year. General Manager of Exlabesa Building Systems, Paul Benn said: “As our business continues to grow, this investment ensures we can continue to deliver for our growing customer base.”
As well as helping it deliver for its customers, the investment is also a powerful commitment to UK manufacturing. Paul commented: “We’re big believers in UK manufacturing as this investment proves. We have also invested heavily in new automated handling system further increasing our commitment to the UK market. Plus, as a UK aluminium extrusion company selling to UK-based customers, our environmental impact is reduced.”
Exlabesa is a company that has end-to-end control of its manufacturing, which is an important differentiator. Paul said: “Having complete control over our manufacturing processes is important to us and our customers.”
Exlabesa Building Systems manufactures a wide range of aluminium systems that add value to every sector. The range includes casement windows, bi-folding doors, patio doors, tilt turn windows, curtain walling, rebated thermal doors and thermal and non thermal shop fronts. It’s a range that’s continually expanding too: the company will be launching two new ranges in the coming months.
Exlabesa Building Systems is one of UK’s experienced aluminium systems houses. The size of its investment is an indication of its commitment to retaining its market position and delivering for its customers. And as the aluminium sector continues to grow, it means the company continues to be a very attractive proposition for any fabricator looking for an aluminium systems partner.
