The store, which sells major brand names such as Henri Lloyd, Jack Jones, Nike, Duck and Cover, Tommy Hilfiger and Superdry, at discounted prices, officially opened at the centre on Saturday 11 November.
The 2258 sq ft unit, which was occupied by the Vulcan to the Sky Trust’s temporary exhibition over the summer, marks another addition to the centre’s already strong menswear offering with the added bonus of supplying Superdry for women too.
Yasar Khan of Ministry of Design, said: “We’re thrilled to be opening our first Doncaster store here at Lakeside Village.
“We offer some of the fashion world’s biggest brand names, including Cavani, Sinners, Scar Tissue, and Jack Jones, but at outlet prices, with up to 50% off.
“With Lakeside Village having such a strong line up of fashion stores and big brand names already, it’s the perfect place for the Ministry of Design’s latest move.”
The Ministry of Design’s Doncaster store joins others across the country, at sites including Burton, Mansfield, Talke.
John Magee, centre manager at Lakeside Village, said: “We know our customers love big brand names, especially at lower prices than they’ll find elsewhere, so the Ministry of Design is bound to be a popular addition to our centre.
“Some of the brands the store stocks, such as Superdry, aren’t widely available to shoppers in this area at the moment, so we’re excited to be able to offer these products here at Lakeside Village.”
