The rigorous selection process drew up a shortlist of four companies, with the contract being awarded to Moirae Creative Agency.
The new website will promote the whole of the Doncaster borough as an attractive place to invest. Doncaster has recently adopted a new, vibrant ‘place’ visual identity and using this will help in the promotion of Doncaster as a much desired location in which to also live and work; with quality housing, superb career opportunities, a diverse education offer as well as a family friendly range of activities to suit all ages.
It goes without saying that the new website will be fully responsive and functional to all devices including smart phones and tablets whilst still showcasing a professional eye-catching design.
David Plant, Managing Director of Moirae Creative Agency said: “We are delighted to be able to work with Doncaster Council and Business Doncaster on this exciting new website, which will showcase all the borough has to offer and promote Doncaster as THE place to invest and build your business”
Lorna Reeve, Destination Marketing Manager for Business Doncaster said: “The entries we received for this contract were of a very high standard which made the judging process somewhat difficult to say the least”. However, designing a new website is a collaborative project and we are very pleased to be working with Moirae Creative Agency and very much value their knowledge, expertise and guidance throughout the process”
Lorna added: “Business Doncaster is the ecomomic development arm of Doncaster Council therefore it is extremely important that the website represents all the services we offer whether it is a business looking to locate to the area or an existing business looking to expand and requires further business support. This is a very exciting time for Doncaster with some major plans and future developments taking place and we want to be able to promote and share these through a new modern and easy to navigate website”.
This latest tender win comes on the back of recent successes for Moirae Creative including the recent launch of the new British Steel website following the rebrand of British Steel which Moirae were an instrumental part of.
To add to this, Moirae has been shortlisted for a number of business awards at the upcoming 2016 Doncaster Business Awards, including one for ‘Excellence in Marketing & Communications’. David Plant, owner and director of Moirae Creative Ltd has also been shortlisted for the ‘Business Person of the Year’ category.
