Pacy & Wheatley cuts ribbon on new office

Pacy & Wheatley Group were thrilled to open their new head office on Thursday, 25th July with an official opening ceremony. Despite being one of the hottest days of the year, the Directors were suited and booted for the special occasion.

Thursday posed an opportunity for Pacy & Wheatley to show off their purpose-built offices in Balby, Doncaster to colleagues, family and friends, clients and supply chain partners.

The office space has been designed with a careful eye to enhance the brand aesthetic. The visitor's room features a personalised timeline of the company's achievements, beginning back in 1968 when Pacy & Wheatley started as joiners specialising in bespoke wardrobe fitting, and an original business sign is proudly displayed.

The timeline follows many career highlights: including an Acoustic project with award-winning Victoria Gate shopping centre in Leeds in 2017 and ending with the group's 50th birthday last year. A rolling video displaying the groups case studies can be seen in the corner and the company's signature green is tastefully incorporated into the room.

David Wheatley, the company's Chairman and a founding member of Pacy & Wheatley has seen and managed many changes within his industry. With a specific passion for people development, Pacy & Wheatley were one of the first companies in the UK to be accredited with the Investors in People standard. His passion for his team is clear, as they were the first to be thanked in his speech.

"I'd like to wish our staff all the compliments they deserve, because they've all played a part in the success of the company"

Of course, David also wished to thank his clients past and present: "A big thank you to all our clients because without you we couldn't be here"

Stefan Rodgers, Commercial Director at Doncaster Chamber of Commerce had the honour of cutting the ribbon and officially declaring the office 'open'! He said "I think it's a great success story as a business. It's another landmark for you guys. It's wonderful to see wealth creation in Doncaster.
