Pennine Stone celebrates 15 years by becoming Chamber Patrons

As Pennine Stone celebrates its fifteenth anniversary, the UK’s leading supplier of cast stone to the house building and construction sectors, has become a Patron member of Doncaster Chamber.

Richard Walsh, Managing Director of Pennine Stone Ltd, said: “We are becoming Patron members of Doncaster Chamber because we feel it’s important for a Carcroft employer of 108 mainly local people to be involved in the local business community and to contribute in some way towards the great work that the Chamber does around promoting local business, local education and local issues.”

As patron members, Pennine Stone will have more opportunities to attend high profile business  leadership events, influence policy, and support the Doncaster Skills Academy with bridging the gap between skills and education and the world of work. They join 18 other Patron members spanning a range of sectors from the local business community including Doncaster Sheffield Airport and Polypipe.

The company is celebrating 15 years of continuously operating from its Carcroft site where it manufactures Cast Stone products which it supplies to many of the UK’s largest house building and construction companies.

Pennine Stone was formed in 2002 as part of the Haddonstone group and has grown to become one of the UK’s leading cast stone manufacturers. The company is one of only eleven manufacturers in the world to receive ‘Full Member’ status from the Glass Reinforced Concrete Association for its range of innovative GRC  products.
