This year’s Doncaster Business Showcase attracted thousands of visitors, with a number of high profile Doncaster firms manning stalls at the annual event which offers local businesses the chance to show what they do and attract new trade.
Many of those present were running games to grab visitors’ attention. Photocopiers firm Active IT Systems, based at Hatfield Woodhouse, were running a spin the wheel game. Others had some of their business paraphernalia on show including Burrows Toyota who brought a car into the room.
As well as businesses, this year also saw a number of charities exhibiting, including the Doncaster, Rotherham and District RSPCA and the When You Wish Upon a Star charity, which makes dreams come true for poorly children.
The event also attracted some of the best known faces in Doncaster, including elected mayor Ros Jones and Don Valley MP Nick Fletcher.
Organisers, Business Doncaster, described the show as the largest business exhibition in Yorkshire saying: “The buzz...was fantastic, made possible by everyone who attended and exhibited.”
